Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Charging System Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop an advanced charger for innovative programs.
- Lead and guide suppliers through the charger development process, ensuring compliance with vehicle specifications, legal requirements, and future regulations.
- Manage power electronics, charger design, and troubleshooting activities in coordination with suppliers.
- Periodically travel within Europe for approximately one week every two months.
- Develop an optimal charger design by analyzing simulation data, considering attributes, and incorporating legal prerequisites.
- Provide expertise in addressing supplier deviations, particularly in relation to system-wide implications.
- Oversee supplier-related tasks such as 8D reports and validation processes.
- Assist the Project Manager, particularly in matters concerning the charger.
- Take charge of significant testing initiatives in various labs, pushing the boundaries of the vehicle’s capabilities.
What you bring:
- Hold an MSc or equivalent in a technical field, complemented by knowledge of Electronics and Embedded Software.
- Proficient in Requirement Management, preferably experienced with tools like IBM Doors or SystemWeaver.
- Possess a proactive problem-solving toolkit.
- Display strong teamwork orientation and a penchant for engaging conversations.
